Ooty is a hill station near the Nilgiri hills in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.Ooty is also known as Udhagai.Just like another hill station, there are lots of sceneries, viewpoint and each of them is been converted in good tourist attraction place. Tea and coffee plantation covered most of the part of Ooty.

We have started our journey from Bangalore, we have booked a Volvo Bus around 10 pm. The approximate distance from Bangalore to Ooty is 265 km. and we reached at 6:30 a.m. After that we went to the hotel where we had our breakfast. And after that, we started visiting the places.
DAY 1

Ooty Lake - The
Ooty lake is artificial lake constructed by John Sullivan. It is located behind the railway station. Those who like boat riding or pedal and motor boat this is a good place to those set of people.
It starts at morning 8 AM and it is there till 6 PM.

Pyakar River- Pykar is a name of village and river 19 km from Ooty.This area is surrounded by the forest that add to it natural beauty. The river falls down different height towards the end. This place is popular
Picnic spot for Tourist as well as local. Many filmmakers have shot songs of their movie around the picturesque lakes. There is a Boathouse, rest house and restaurants run by the Tamil Nadu Tourist Development Corporation.

Shooting Point- A wondrous meadow. It looks like the same place that has come alive from dreams. The Picturesque setting made it a preferred location for the shooting
of many films like Raaz, Raja Hindustani, Hum etc.

Doddabetta Peak- It is the
highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills, There is a reserved forest area around the peak. From the peak, you can see the whole view.There is telescope house for a better view.

Botanical Garden- The botanical garden in Ooty is home to many rare species of trees. The paper bark tree, the monkey bark tree, and old fossilized tree round out the other rare species.The Ooty botanical garden is divided into 6 part which include the lower garden, New Garden, Italian Garden, Conservatory, Fountain Terrace and Nursery. We covered botinical garden at around 1:30 after that we had our lunch. After finishing our lunch we went hotel.
